Zachary's BBQ’s Chefsoul Saturdays Bring Blues, BBQ and Craft Brews

The Norristown restaurant and catering company was chosen as "Philadelphia" magazine's 2012 Best Barbecue.

Zachary's BBQ Southern Comfort & Catering in Norristown is honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. this weekend as they host their first, monthly Chefsoul Saturday event of 2014 with blues, barbecue, beer flights from Prism Brewery and dishes that pay homage to King’s hometown of Atlanta, GA.

On Saturday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m., Zachary’s kitchen, under the helm of chef and founder Keith Taylor, will be bustling with an Atlanta-inspired “uptown down south feel” while guests enjoy small plates, barbecue, small-batch bourdon and more.

According to Taylor, they are also inspired by the upcoming black history month.

“The beauty of Chefsoul Saturdays is that it’s something that doesn’t really happen in Norristown,” said Taylor. “Every month we change it.”

The Brave New Blues will play at Chefsoul Saturday this week, which will include an open jam session.

The admission price is $25 (call 610-272-1800 for a reservation). For further information visit: http://www.zacharysbbq.com/
