Kara, that's how you speak to a reader as a member of Patch? 1) If they no longer have staff inRead More Pittsburgh, then maybe it's not appropriate for them to write about Pittsburgh news. 2) Sure this is a free service for readers, but the Patch makes money off of ads on the site. Which are determined by the level of readership of a site. So even if this is free, the Patch is still making money based on people reading it. If you want to keep readers, the Patch should be sure to serve up relevant content specific to the regions of their readers. Period.

Also, considering that all the Patch does 90% of the time is scrape and post news stories from otherRead More sites, you should really strive to create posts that are both relevant and newsworthy to the reader that 10% of the time that you do generate your own posts.

Patch is undergoing a restructuring and at the current moment not every site is staffed. ApologiesRead More if the site in your town is not meeting your current needs.

Yes but capitalism does not work that way, governments do not decide what/where businesses go (atRead More least not yet anyway, give them time...) BTW we have 2 here in Lansdale lol!

I don' t have an issue with PECO, it's PGW who's the thief.

why would you begrudge a poor family like the Roberts from earning a living? If they can buy theRead More water co, and gas co. just think how simple they will make our lives, just paying one bill for everything, and they can send out the same inept service tech to handle all the repairs, between 8 & 12 or 12 & 5. There ought to be a law.

I dropped them YEARS ago when they only had cable. As soon as some other option was available I gotRead More the competitor. No way would I ever get Comcast and I know a lot of folks who switched from the to Verizon like I did. Like someone else said, if they were the last place to supply electric I would buy solar panels.

Wait, you're telling me that they're making many millions of dollars and that they simply made a bitRead More less last month? They still made a profit! Tell you what, report something when they start LOSING money, which will never happen, right? I find it difficult to worry about this since the money doesn't appear to be filtering back to any of the citizens, is it??

PA's new gas tax will have us next to California as the highest. Food, fuel, everything will costRead More more. Owebamacare taxes falling in line, higher insurance costs, inflation,.... people will have less and less. Slots were a good investment? Really? People need jobs, not slot machines when they don't have any freakin money! How do casinos function in socialist states? I guess we'll see.
Capt. Obvious March 10, 2014 at 12:39 pm
probably just starting the "poor us" publicity so that next year they can file bankruptcyRead More and screw everyone they owe, Trump style, and then come back with a new name a few months later and start over debt free.

Even as we are approaching our third year we make mistakes and love every customer and staff memberRead More for being patient with us. Always ask for me and know that as much as we relish the compliments...we want to know what goes wrong so we can continue to make the guest experience better every time we serve you. If you ever have a less than perfect guest experience at our little kitchen please tell a team member that you would like to speak to Chef Taylor. Even if I am not available you can be assured that I respond to all questions personally and I am more focused on raising the bar for the customer experience than resting upon praise and good reviews. Thank you for the growing successes and I am genuinely hopeful that my gift of humble service, gracious hospitality and great comfort foods will continue bless you and the neighborhood of friends that we call our family here at Zachary's Southern Comfort & Catering.
