I have a great thought for Norristown, once the snow stops, they should take a section of town andRead More have ALL the cars removed from the street, both sides for a few hours and have the plows come through like they do in other Townships, then everyone would have a parking place and no fighting or furniture to hold spaces etc. 40 years ago when I lived on Airy Street, it was a snow emergency route and you HAD to move your car. along came the plows and the srteet are cleared. Why can't we do that? I did see them clearing down in front of the Post Office last snow storm and I thinks it's a very good idea, before it freezes into piles no one but Mother Nature can remove in her own sweet time.

Virginia, I'm guessing there's just no room to put those cars, especially when any other place you'dRead More put them would currently be occupied by snow. I don't think it'd be a bad idea if there was more room and organization to do so, though.

They could take them to the old Montgomery Hospital parking lot, wavier the fee and they'd be offRead More the road and the roads would be cleared. Philadelphia people had to move their cars. I know East Norriton they have to move theirs. If not there they could go up to Wal Mart and park for a few hours long enough to clear the streets, or even the Logan Square parking lot. It could be done.
