An ambulance crashed into a passenger vehicle around 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon, sending multiple people to the hospital.
A Saturday afternoon crash involving an ambulance and a passenger vehicle sent multiple people to the hospital. According to Patch reader Kristian Konetzny, who was on the scene, the ambulance struck the vehicle at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Stanbridge in East Norriton shortly after 5 p.m. It is unknown who – if anyone – was at fault at this time. Konetzny said via email that the driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition, and ambulance personnel were also transferred to local hospitals from the scene. Matthew Royer, 21, of Skippack, left his apartment at the University of Rhode Island on Thursday and has not been seen since.
Police are seeking help in locating a missing Skippack man who hasn’t been heard from since leaving his Rhode Island college on Thursday. Pennsylvania State Police say that Matthew R. Royer, 21, left the University of Rhode Island on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. en route to his Skippack Township home, but has not been heard from since. Royer is 6 feet, one inch tall and 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, and police believe he is driving a silver 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt. According to WFMZ, Royer’s last cell phone activity was traced to somewhere near Vera Cruz Road in Lehigh County. Piyush Kumar Agarwal, 29, of Audubon, is facing numerous charges in connection with seven incidents of indecency dating back to April 6.
Lower Providence and Upper Providence police departments have announced the arrest of 29-year-old Piyush Kumar Agarwal, of Audubon, in connection with a string of indecent exposure incidents dating back to April 6. An Upper Providence detective reportedly encountered Agarwal at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday at the trailhead of the Perkiomen Trail, near the intersection of Lower Indian Head Road and Upper Indian Head Road. Agarwal was standing outside of his vehicle, with the top button of his pants unbuttoned, according to the report. The report indicates that both Agarwal and his vehicle matched the descriptions given to police by prior victims. Police then approached Agarwal and placed him in custody, the report states. Ryan Sandor, 37, of the 400 block of Grove Street, was arrested after a traffic stop May 8 and taken into custody for failure to appear on loitering and prowling charges in Montgomery County court.
A Bridgeport man wanted on a Montgomery County warrant for failure to appear at a formal arraignment on a loitering and prowling charge was nabbed by Whitpain Township Police during a traffic stop, police said. Ryan Sandor, 37, of the 400 block of Grove Street, Bridgeport, was arrested at 7:43 p.m. May 8 after his vehicle was stopped for expired inspection, police said. Sandor was taken into custody without incident and later released to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, police said. Court records show Sandor was awaiting arraignment on a misdemeanor prowling charge and a summary trespassing charge from a January 2013 arrest in Lansdale Borough. Local authorities are searching for a man who has exposed himself, masturbated in public before walkers in both townships.
After five reported cases, the area's police are working together to find a man that has been exposing himself in public. Lower Providence and Upper Providence Township Police Departments are investigating five reported incidents of indecent exposure occurring between April 6 and May 12 in both Lower Providence or Upper Providence townships. The incidents have occurred in the late afternoon and early evening as area residents walk along roads or trails, according to police. Each of the five reports were filed as having happened between 3:20 and 7:25 p.m. Police say that the man would be in place prior to the walkers approaching, jump out of his vehicle without any pants on, or with his pants pulled down. Man wanted for passing fake $100s to Pennsylvania, New Jersey businesses.
He is wanted by Upper Merion Police Department, but that isn't the only spot he's allegedly hit up with fake dough. The man seen in the video above is wanted for passing counterfeit bills, according to Upper Merion Police, according to a report on 6ABC. Police say the male suspect may have a tattoo on his right knuckles that reads "BUENO." Multiple units from the Norristown Police Department responded to the intersection of Elm Street and Haws Avenue on Wednesday night, following a report of an armed person. Reports began to come in to the Norristown Patch around 8:30 p.m., with residents and sources stating that as few as four and as many as eight police cruisers had moved into the area. According to the Norristown Police Department, multiple juveniles were arrested at the scene, but due to them being minors, additional details will not be released at this time. A drunken 44-year-old East Norriton man was arrested last month after he tried to enter the manager's office at Wawa, Whitpain Township Police said. Paul Hinderliter, 44, of the 2600 block of DeKalb Pike, East Norriton, was arrested April 30 for allegedly being drunk inside the Wawa at 1015 DeKalb Pike in Whitpain. Police were called to Wawa shortly before midnight after Hinderliter tried to open the manager's office, police said. When police arrived, Hinderliter was standing near the deli, visibly drunk, police said. He was arrested, charged and later released, police said.
