Ambler Lawsuit About Watered-Down Budweiser Goes National

Ambler joins efforts in New Jersey and California alleging Anheuser-Busch overstates the percentage of alcohol on their products’ labels.

Two Ambler brothers have joined class action lawsuits filed in California and New Jersey, claiming Anheuser-Busch waters down beers such as Budweiser, Michelob, Natural Ice and Bud Light Platinum. The claims are based on statements from former Anheuser-Busch brewery employees, who say extra water was routinely added to beers before bottling, Time reported. Each class action lawsuit is seeking more than $5 million from Anheuser-Busch. People from Ohio and …

If you love good beer, and I mean really good beer, then you need to visit. Matt's got some great stuff on tap this weekend. I made my annual visit this morning and had two very good selections. Besides this weekend, the folks at Capone's always have a terrific selection of micros on draft and in their bottle room year round. They're definitely my favorite area watering hole.   more ›

Young Entrepreneur Debuts Beer 'Fusion Tower' at Local Whole Foods

Combining beer with fresh ingredients, the product is poised for a breakthrough.

For 22-year-old Matt Kyle, the classic entrepreneurial timeline is almost complete. Sell your car for startup cash? Check. Drop out of college? Check. Build the prototype of an innovative product in Mom's basement? Check. Now all he needs is that elusive "watch your product's popularity skyrocket and take your bank account with" part. But if it does occur, it will have all started in the Plymouth Meeting Whole Foods. That's where you'll currently find Kyle's invention, the Fusion Tower – an upside-down, J-shaped metal tube that infuses fresh ingredients with draft beer to create a twist on your favorite suds. "The concept is very simple," says Kyle, a Bucks County native. "You take any ingredient, mix it with beer, and that ingredient gets…
