Body Found in Canal Matches Missing Woman's Description

Authorities recovered a body from the canal in Lambertville that matches the description of Sarah Majoras.

A body found Wednesday in the canal in Lambertville matches the description of missing New Hope bartender Sarah Majoras, authorities announced. Anthony P. Kearns said investigators will work with the medical examiner's office to positively identify the body. But Kearns, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor heading the investigation into Majoras' disappearance, said officials will continue to work to discover what happened to her. "There’s nothing to indicate that there’s been foul play," Kearns said during a 6 p.m. press conference, the second of the day. Woman Collapses, Dies at Deck Motel on Friday

Cause of death is still under investigation.

According to Whitpain Police, officers responded to the Deck Motel on DeKalb Pike for a medical emergency call on Friday morning Sgt. Cathy Penecale told Patch that witnesses saw a woman collapse at the motel, but the cause of death of the woman is currently under investigation. Patch will update this article as more information becomes available.

Police ID Body Recovered from Schuylkill on Monday

Authorities say there was no sign of foul play in the death of Carlos Enrique Velasco.

Police have identified the body of the man recovered from the Schuylkill River near Riverfront Park in Norristown on Monday, Nov. 19, as Carlos Enrique Velasco, of Guatemala. Norristown Police Chief Russel Bono confirmed the late 20-something year-old man had been drinking heavily the night before he was found. On Tuesday evening, Chief Bono said police were still awaiting the results of an autopsy from the Montgomery County Coroner's office.  "Our investigation led us to learn that he was drinking, rather heavily, with friends at the location Saturday night, and he was reportedly so drunk that his friends left him there to sleep it off," Chief Bono told The Times Herald. Body Pulled From Schuylkill at Riverfront Park

The body of an unidentified hispanic male was recovered from the Schuylkill today. Cause of death has not yet determined, but police reportedly do not suspect foul play.

UPDATE: [6:15 p.m.] According to 6ABC Action News, the body recovered from the Schuylkill River on Monday afternoon, Nov. 19, is that of a Hispanic man, possibly in his late 20s, police said. The man was reportedly wearing a landscaping hat. Norristown Police and Fire Departments were called to the scene near Riverfront Park along the banks of the Schuylkill at the end of Haws Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. for a report of a water rescue after a Pennsylvania game warden reported seeing a body floating in the river, snagged on debris and driftwood near the edge of the riverbank. Body Found in Green Lane Reservoir

A 46-year-old Easton man's body was found Sunday afternoon as police investigated an overnight unattended vehicle.

According to a release issued by the Pennsylvania State Police, a 46-year-old Easton man was pulled from the Green Lane Reservoir at 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2. Officers were dispatched to the Green Lane Park early Sunday morning for a reported overnight unattended vehicle, which prompted the investigation. The cause of death has not been determined at this time, and the investigation is pending an examination from the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.
