Theft According to reports from the Norristown Police Department, a victim reported a 9mm semi-automatic handgun was stolen from a friend’s house at 1610 Markley St. sometime between Thursday, July 28, at 6 a.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 10 p.m. Armed robbery A victim stated that on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 6:26 a.m., two black males entered his apartment at 19 E. Elm St. and went into his bedroom, where he was asleep, police reported. Police said the victim reported one male had a small black handgun and took $1,000 cash and a Blackberry from the victim's bedroom.
