28 Pounds of Pot Seized from Pa. Man

A Pennsylvania man with ties to Montgomery and Bucks counties is stopped in Oklahoma for allegedly carrying large amounts of marijuana.

One Pennsylvania man should have used more caution when changing lanes Friday. Casey Sharp Ward, 21, of various addresses in Montgomery and Delaware counties of Pennsylvania, was stopped in El Reno, Oklahoma after a Canadian County deputy sheriff noticed him change lanes without a signal. That wasn't all he noticed. "When the deputy approached the car, he smelled the strong odor of marijuana," according to a report from NewsOn9.com.  With that suspicion in mind, the deputy called in a drug-sniffing dog. Before long, 28 pounds of marijuana was found in Ward's vehicle's trunk. No one mentioned it yet, however many governmental agencies are worried about taxing pot, missing out on tax collections, etc... And how about alcohol and what it does to your body versus pot? If legalized in PA, i would replace my liquor for pot asap.   more ›
