Accident shut down westbound lanes of the Turnpike Friday morning.
This article has been updated with information from the Pennsylvania State Police, King of Prussia Barracks: A car traveling along the Pennsylvania Turnpike Friday morning lost control and ended up falling 65 feet below, to Route 23 near Center Street in West Conshohocken. It landed square in the middle of railroad tracks along the road. Amazingly, police report, only minor injuries were sustained by the car's single occupant, the driver. According to Trooper Kevin Rathman of the Pennsyvania State Police, a 41-year-old female from Reading was traveling west on the turnpike in a 2000 Ford explorer when her vehicle spun out of control. One victim transported via helicopter
Shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, a four vehicle accident occurred at Germantown Pike and Whitehall Rd. One vehicle stopped in the grass in front of the East Norriton Fire Department. All four vehicles were towed from the scene. One driver was evacuted from the scene by medical helicopter and one was taken by ambulance. East Norriton Township Police Patrol Sgt. Walters told Patch he did not know the condition of the victims or which hospitals they were taken to. The accident is still under investigation.

A witness says the school bus drove through a red light and collided with 64-year-old Norristown resident Deborah Belani's car.
Deborah Belani, 64, of Norristown, was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital "for minor aches and pains on her left side," according to a police report after a school bus reportedly ran a red light and collided with her car and another at the intersection of Routes 73 and 113 in Skippack Township around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. Other people involved in the crash complained of "basic aches and pains," said Trooper Stephen Dozier. A teacher's aide who was riding in the bus was taken to Abington Health Lansdale Hospital to be treated for "a bump on the head." The aide was conscious at the scene.
