Felony Theft Case Against Pottstown Teen Heads to Trial

Jeremiah White, 19, of the 400 block of North Charlotte Street, allegedly stole a Ford Expedition on Jan. 5 from Norristown, and later crashed it in a Hatfield Township accident, police said.

Jeremiah White's stomach allegedly got him in trouble with the law — and he is now headed to county trial on, among other offenses, a felony receiving stolen property charge. White, 19, of the 400 block of North Charlotte Street, Pottstown, waived charges of felony receiving stolen property, misdemeanor accidents involving damage to another vehicle, failing to stop and render aid and following a vehicle too closely Tuesday at Montgomery Township district court, according to The Reporter. White is free on $10,000 unsecured bail, which District Judge Andrea Duffy granted at his preliminary hearing, according to court records. Felony criminal mischief with intent to damage property was held over for Montgomery County court Tuesday against William James Morris, 27, of Norristown, accused of causing more than $5,000 in damage to the interior of a Wawa in Towamencin in October 2012. Other misdemeanor and summary charges were held at the Lansdale preliminary hearing in connection with the incident at the Wawa at Forty Foot Road and Sumneytown Pike on Oct. 26: Four counts of misdemeanor terroristic threats, a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, according to court records. Popeye's Receipt Leads to ID, Arrest of Accused Pottstown Teen [Update]

Jeremiah White's stomach allegedly got him in trouble with the law. A Popeye's receipt and a cell phone left behind in a stolen 1998 Ford Expedition involved in a Hatfield Township accident led to the arrest of the suspect — a Pottstown teen. Jeremiah White, 19, allegedly stole a 1998 Ford Expedition from Norristown on Jan. 5, 2013, crashed it on Jan. 18 in Hatfield Township and then allegedly fled from the scene of the accident, police said. Now, he faces felony charges in Montgomery County court. Two Norristown Residents Charged with Five Armed Robberies

Andrew Chronister, 25, and Faheem Yuself Murray, 28, allegedly robbed several convenience stores and gas stations in Montgomery and Chester counties.

According to a release issued byt he U.S. Attorney's Office, Andrew Chronister, 25, and Faheem Yuself Murray, 28, both of Norristown, were charged today by indictment with conpiracy to commit robbery which interferes with interstate commerce, five counts of robbery which interferes with interstate commerce and five counts of using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. Chronister is also charged with two counts of possession of a stolen firearm and two counts of convicted felon in possession of a stolen firearm. The indictment charges that on Nov. 11-12, 2009, the defendants conspired to commit and committed five armed robberies of convenience stores and gas stations in Montgomery and Chester counties. …
