Two Charged with Robbery, Assault of Pizza Delivery Man
Caps five-month investigation by Conshohocken PD
Conshohocken Police have arrested two Norristown men they say assaulted and robbed a pizza delivery man in Conshohocken last June. Akeem Jones, 22, of the 800 block of George Street, and Korey Holmes, 20, of the 1100 block of Willow Street, both face felony robbery and assault charges in connection with the June 20th incident. Police say that on that day, an employee of West Conshohocken's Keystone Pizza was making a delivery to 129 Forrest St., Conshohocken, but upon arrival, was redirected to a nearby location by the caller. At that point, Holmes and Jones, allegedly wearing face coverings, emerged from an alley between 1st and 2nd Avenues, with Jones brandishing a rusty revolver.
