Dale Mabry Sworn In as West Norriton's Newest Police Chief
Mabry, a 34-year veteran of the department, was sworn in in a ceremony on Tuesday evening.
According to The Times Herald, former West Norriton Deputy Chief of Police Dale Mabry was officially sworn in during a ceremony before the West Norriton Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday evening. Mabry replaced former Police Chief Robert Adams, who officially retired on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. "I just want to thank everyone in this room," Mabry told the crowd, according to the Herald. "I want to thank the commissioners for their support... I can’t tell you how proud I am of these men and women in this police department. I’d like to thank you all and I really appreciate the support." Mabry reportedly started as a patrolman with the West Norriton Police Department in 1979.
