PennDOT Closing East Johnson Highway Starting Wednesday
The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the rest of the week.
East Norriton Township issued an alert on Tuesday East Johnson Highway will be closed between Old Arch Rd and Rahway Avenue starting Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. while PennDOT crews work on the road. The posted detour will direct drivers to Old Arch Road and New Hope Street. The closure is expected to last through the end of the week while PennDOT crews replace a 48-inch drainage cross pipe under the roadway. For more PennDOT information, visit www.dot.state.pa.us.

Gwen, that was the information that PennDOT and East Norriton released yesterday. I can call PennDOT tomorrow to find out why the road is still closed and I'll check with the school district to find out if any bus stops have been moved. more ›
