Child Killed in School Bullying Incident to be Honored at Phillies Game

12-year-old Bailey O'Neill, who died from injuries sustained during a playground bullying incident, will be honored by the Philadelphia Phillies during their home game against the Red Sox on May 29.

The Philadelphia Phillies have announced they will dedicate their home game on May 29 to the memory of 12-year-old Bailey O'Neill, who died as a result of injuries sustained during a playground bullying incident in March. "We extended the invite to the O'Neill family, and they graciously accepted," said Scott Palmer, Public Affairs Director for the Philadelphia Phillies. "Now we're working on planning out the rest of the day." UPDATE: Barbara Drive Fire Victim Identified

Three separate fires in less than a week and within a few miles claimed two lives and injured as many as seven people. None are suspected of involving foul play.

UPDATE: [1/31/13; 2:30 p.m.] Authorities have released the identity of the man killed in last week's fire on Barbara Drive in East Norriton According to East Norriton Fire Marshal Frank Ludwig, the death of 44-year-old Bryan O'Neill has been ruled accidental. The cause of the fire was determined to be careless smoking on O'Neill's part. One Dead in Ridge Pike Crash in Plymouth

A dump truck driver was killed when his truck tipped over and slid into electrical pole.

A man was killed Friday morning when the dump truck he was driving collided with a utility pole on Ridge Pike in Plymouth Township shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30. Sergeant John Jackson of the Plymouth Township Police department said a preliminary investigation indicated that the driver, whose name has not yet been released, ran a red light while traveling westbound at Alan Wood Road. "We're not one hundred percent sure, but we think he ran the red-light and for whatever reason slammed on his brakes and started to turn," Jackson said. Jackson said the truck then tipped onto its passenger side and slid cab first into an electric pole. The pole was completely obliterated and also brought down lines on both sides of Ridge Pike, …
