9-Year-Old Struck by School Van Wednesday Morning
The girl was hit near Gotwals Elementary, but was not seriously injured according to authorities.
According to The Times Herald, a 9-year-old girl ran into traffic and was hit by a school van early Wednesday morning in the 800 block of Swede Street near Gotwals Elementary. The girl reportedly suffered a scratch and a bump on the head and complained of pain in her leg. She was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment of her injuries. Authorities alerted her parents and say the injuries weren't serious. Read more about the incident here.
