A home on the unit block of West Basin Street was struck at least four times by gunfire last Thursday.
Norristown Police responded to a report of shots fired along the unit block of West Basin Street just before midnight on Thursday, May 9. A male resident of the home told police that he was sitting on his porch along with a female visitor when he observed a black male peek out from the side of his house at porch level, according to the report. The black male was described as wearing a black jacket with a fur-lined hood with a white bandana covering his face. The male resident quickly ran into his house, at which point witnesses stated they heard at least five shots, according to the report.
