MTV's 'Jersey Shore' Is Ending for Good
The final season will begin airing in October.
Love or hate its rambunctious cast, the show that made Seaside Heights famous — or, at least, infamous — is going off the air. MTV announced Thursday afternoon its hit series Jersey Shore will end after a recently taped season airs this fall. The sixth season of the series, which since 2009 has chronicled the oft-drunken misadventures of eight twentysomethings living in a house on Ocean Terrace in Seaside Heights, New Jersey will premiere Oct. 4 at 10 p.m. Lately, the production crews have been filming in Manchester. But when the season ends, the show and the cast will not return. The network will air the retrospective Gym, Tan, Look Back as part of a farewell marathon Sept. 6, and the cast will make an appearance at the MTV Video Music …

it's crazy to end the show... they should just keep Vinnie an pauly since there the only single ones left in the show...just start a new crew of 6 along side Vinnie an paul. keep it going. its a great show an to hott to end... hope mtv changes there minds. cause i can't stand there teens having baby's. if the shore goes off (mtv im off too honestly) more ›
