Folks from all walks of life, and even from other parts of the world, joined together Monday at the Greater Norristown Police Athletic League on Harding Boulevard to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of service to the community. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., volunteers painted walls, sorted books, cleaned out storage areas and generally helped clean up the center. Norristown Councilman-At-Large Marlon Milner has a great photo album from the event on Facebook. You can see it here.
