Friends Organize Benefit for Norristown Man's Family
Michael Humphries reportedly died suddenly in the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 4, and friends have organized a fundraiser to help pay funeral costs and support his family.
Several Norristown Patch readers have contacted me about the passing of 31-year-old Michael Humphries on Sunday, Nov. 4. Humphries would be 32 years old today, Thursday, Nov. 8. According to his obituary on Lifecelebration.com, Humphries, the son of Michael A. Humphries and Regina Thompson, left behind a family including his love Heather LaVair and children Mya, Ella and soon-to-be-born Michael Matthew Humphries Jr. Friends and family are raising funds to help pay for Humphries' services and support his children. Tonight from 7 to 10 p.m., friends will be celebrating his life at Chap's Taproom in Jeffersonville. There will be raffle items and a way for supporters to contribute in person.
