Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden Visits Norristown

Several high-ranking politicos, including Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Mitt Romney and Bill Clinton are spending the last few days before the election in Montgomery County in a last big push to mobilize voters.

With only a few days left until the election, candidates and their proxies are making the rounds in some of the battleground states this weekend, including Pennsylvania. Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, made a few campaign stops in Montgomery County this weekend – in Media on Friday and then in Norristown, West Chester, Germantown and the Northeast on Saturday. On her Saturday stops, she was accompanied by Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter. In Norristown on Saturday, the pair spoke to a full house at the Obama For America campaign headquarters at 1729 Markley Street. Nutter, Pa. Dems Blast Romney Before Friday Visit

The Philadelphia mayor spoke out against GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney who will visit the Union League in Philadelphia and Valley Forge Military Academy in Radnor.

One day before GOP presidential candidate Gov. Mitt Romney visits the Union League and Valley Forge Military Academy, Pennsylvania Democrats spoke out about his visit. In a press call Thursday, Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman Jim Burn criticized the former Massachusetts governor's tax plan and said Romney's out of touch with the common Pennsylvanian. "I think what we're all wondering is, will he double down on the 47% comment?" Burn said, referring to Romney's remarks at a Florida fundraiser where the candidate discussed citizens who may not vote for him.
