Plymouth Ambulance Launches 'Operation Christmas Kids'

On Saturday, emergency responders from all over Montgomery County joined Plymouth Ambulance in delivering a bit of holiday joy to sick children.

This Saturday, Dec. 15, some area residents caught a glimpse of an impromptu parade courtesy of emergency responders from all over Montgomery County. Firetrucks, ambulances, and police and county sheriff's vehicles made their way from Plymouth Community Ambulance Association's headquarters on Germantown Road in Plymouth to Bryn Mawr and St. Christopher's hospitals sirens sounding and loaded for bear with toys for the children. This was third year for the annual run and the urge to do something for children suffering at holiday time took on a very poignant meaning after the tragedy on Friday.
