She Said Yes!

Audubon resident Jay Hammond popped the question last night to girlfriend Sue Conway.

For those of you following the love story developing here at Norristown Patch, local boy Jay Hammond asked his best girl, Norristown Patch reader Sue Conway, to marry him last night in a way he thought would catch her attention – by making it the top story on our site last night. Needless to say we were happy to oblige the love-struck Hammond. The folks at Chap's Taproom tell us that the couple were at the bar last night when the story broke and we're happy to report that Sue said yes. Jay asks Sue: "Will You Marry Me?"

Patch readers anxiously await the answer

Audubon resident, Jay Hammond, is popping the question, right now. He wants to know if Sue Conway will say "yes" to his question: "Will You Marry Me?" The two have been in a relationship for two years.  "Not only is she my girlfriend, but my soulmate and best friend," said Hammond. "She completes me." He said he is hoping for a big "yes" for the holidays this year. "With this ring, it is a sign that I have 'landed the plane,'" said Hammond. So, Sue, what do you say?
