The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released the following statement this morning in response to President Barack Obama's statement Sunday night announcing the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden: "The mastermind of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, that killed thousands of innocent men, women and children has been killed. President Barack Obama made the announcement late Sunday evening, May 1, in a televised address to the world.
