Tyrone 'T-Man' Griffin Apprehended in Friday Police Action
Authorities mobilized the SWAT to apprehend Griffin, who they say was wanted in connection with several shooting incidents in Norristown, in an apartment in West Norriton.
Norristown and West Norriton Police departments mobilized in West Norriton on Friday evening and apprehended 25-year-old Tyrone Griffin, a.k.a. "T-Man." Griffin has an extensive criminal history reaching back to his teenage years and was wanted on several open warrants in connection with several shooting incidents in Norristown as well as other crimes. According to Detective Lt. Michael Crescitelli, officers were dispatched the area of Chain and Oak streets Friday night, Feb. 22 at approximately 5:30 p.m., for a report of shots fired. On the scene, witnesses told police that Griffin, known to police and wanted on local and county warrants, was involved in the incident.
