Kyle Anthony Wilson, 21, of Fort Washington, is accused of robbing three banks in Montgomery County in March.
The Fort Washington man accused in a string of bank robberies in Montgomery County this month waived all charges against him to Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Wednesday at Collegeville District Court. Alleged serial bank robber Kyle Anthony Wilson, 21, remains incarcerated at Montgomery County prison. According to Michael Goldberg of The Reporter, Wilson’s bail was reduced by $1,000 at his hearing to $499,000. The reduction affords Wilson the chance to work at the prison and engage in extra recreational privileges, according to the article. According to a release issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subjects responsible for the armed robbery of a Garda Armored Car on Wednesday, Dec. 7. The robbery occurred at approximately noon as the Garda employees were delivering cash to a bank at the corner of 4th and Tabor streets in Philadelphia. Two of the robbers, one armed with a shotgun and the other with a semi-automatic pistol, approached a Garda employee, brandished the weapons and demanded cash. Digman is being charged in U.S. District Court with four counts of bank robbery, in connection with the attempted robbery of the Bank of America branch at 1841 E. Allegheny Ave., Monday, July 11; and the robberies of the PNC Bank branch at 900 Walnut St., also on Monday, July 11; the PNC Bank branch at 1849 Walnut St. on Monday, July 18; and the Beneficial Bank branch at 826 E.
