Norristown Man in Stable Condition After Wednesday Night Shooting in Alley

The 21-year-old man was shot late Wednesday night in an apparent robbery attempt.

An official from Paoli Hospital confirmed on Monday that the 21-year-old male who suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach late Wednesday night, Nov. 21, is still hospitalized but in stabile condition. According to reports from the Norristown Police Department, officers were dispatched to the area of DeKalb and Elm streets just after 11:45 p.m. for a report of shots fired which was upgraded to a possible shooting while officers were en route.  On the scene, officers discovered the victim, a 21-year-old Norristown man, laying on the north side of the 100 block of East Jacoby Street. Billy funny that you mention cameras, we have cameras on many commercial bldgs in town, just look up when on Main and Marshall St. Do the police have access and use those cameras? These are not kids doing this s__t these are criminals plain and simple. We need the incoming police chief, Richet, to tell us what he will do different to clean up this mess.
