With craft beers on tap and locally sourced produce, Guppy's Good Times opened this Thursday.
Guppy's Good Times, with a popular location in Conshohocken, opened their second location on Thursday in East Norriton. The new bar and restaurant has 12 craft beers on tap and serves lunch and dinner. As previously reported on Patch, Guppy's recycles every bottle, reserves Saturday nights for charity fundraisers, has live bands Thursdays, Friday and Saturday nights, and sources as much produce and meat from Maple Acres Farm in Plymouth Meeting. The sign is up, the furniture's moving in, and the popular Conshohocken bar and restaurant's new East Norriton location is set to open in April 10.

Guppy's Good Times Bar has an early April opening planned.
Hot spot in Conshohocken is spreading the "good times" in East Norriton. Guppy's Good Times bar will be opening a second location on Germantown Pike in East Norriton in early April. Robin Gupta, owner of Guppy's, said the new location will have the same feel as the Conshohocken location, but with a slightly more modern look to it. Looks aside, the values of Guppy's will be the same across the board - they will recycle every bottle, Saturday nights will be for charities, and food sourced from the local farm, Maple Acres Farm in Plymouth Meeting. "Community is a big part of the business…and we should operate with them in mind," said Gupta. The new location will feature live music on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, and some Saturday …

Have been there twice. Overall, food is very good. Pappardelle dish advertises broccoli rabe as an ingredient - it was more like a garnish. Went on a Friday, WAY TOO LOUD! Salads are great, salmon tacos are great! No house wine (cab) which was interesting. Maybe a work in progress. more ›
