LP Police Seek Men Wanted for Assault, Bad Checks

Daniel James Long and Leonard Earl Lyles are wanted by the LPTPD.

Do you recognize these faces?  Daniel James Long (first photo, white male) is wanted by the Lower Providence Township Police, according to the department's Facebook page. The police seek Long for charges stemming from an aggravated assault incident, according to the department. Long’s date of birth is May 12, 1967. The second photo in the gallery (African American male) is Leonard Earl Lyles. He is also wanted by the LPTPD. He is wanted on charges of a misdemeanor involving bad checks. Lyles is date of birth is Aug. 29, 1979. "If you have information on the whereabouts of Long please contact the Lower Providence Township Police Department at 610-539-5901," said the post on Facebook.

Montgomery County's Most Wanted: Warrants for Child Support

The following suspects are wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office for warrants in child support cases.

Do any of these faces look familiar to you? If so, you could assist the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. These 11 suspects are wanted on warrants extending from child support cases. They each are named (see the photo caption) along with their date of birth, last known town of address and amount owed in back support. Those with information on these wanted individuals can submit an E-TIP (by clicking on the blue link) or call the Warrants Unit at 610-278-3340. WANTED: Plymouth PD Looking for Armed Robber

The armed robber held up a Ridge Pike business last Thursday.

The Plymouth Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place on Thursday, Jan. 10 at approximately 5:45 a.m. The robbery occurred at a business on the 200 block of Diamond Avenue, between Ridge Pike and Conshohocken Road. An employee of the business was returning to his vehicle when the suspect reportedly held a semi-automatic weapon to his head and asked where the safe was. When the victim indicated that there was no safe, the suspect took the victim’s cash.  The suspect is described as medium to dark-skinned black male in his twenties, approximately 5’11” tall, with a medium build. Philly PD IDs Olney Hit-and-Run Suspect

Philadelphia and local authorities are searching for 27-year-old Christopher Stegall of Middleton Place in West Norriton in connection with last night's hit-and-run assault of a Philadelphia police officer in Olney.

Norristown Patch has learned, and Philadelphia police have confirmed that authorities are searching for 27-year-old Christopher M. Stegall, of 207 Middleton Place in West Norriton. Stegall is wanted for allegedly injuring a Philadelphia police officer last night after a routine traffic stop resulted in Stegall dragging the officer with his 2011 black Ford F150 for a full city block. The officer was taken to the hospital with a broken ankle and related injuries. Authorities have not released a photo of the suspect, but describe him as a 27-year-old black male with a light complexion. Stegall is reportedly 6’2” tall and weighs 170 lbs. Philly Man Wanted in Lansdale Pursuit

Ansord Rashied, 32, of Wallace Place, is also wanted in Whitemarsh Township for burglary. He may be staying in the Norristown or Collegeville area

Lansdale Police are searching for a Philadelphia man wanted for evading police during a high-speed pursuit in March. Ansord Rashied, 32, of the 4700 block of Wallace Place, Philadelphia, also has an active warrant for burglary in Whitemarsh Township. Police believe Rashied may be residing in the Norristown or Collegeville area. Police said that on March 31, 2012 at 8 p.m., police responded to 639 South Broad Street to investigate a suspicious auto, identified as a dark blue 2003 Honda Pilot. A police officer approached and spoke with the driver of the Pilot, identified as Rashied, police said. Lower Providence Police Searching for Bank Robber

Authorities are searching for the man who robbed the PNC Bank on Pawlings Road this morning.

  According to a release issued by the Lower Providence Police Department, authorities are searching for a suspect in the robbery of the PNC Bank at 1111 Pawlings Road in Lower Providence Township. The robbery occurred at 9:25 a.m., Tuesday, May 15. Police say a white male entered the bank and handed a demand note to the teller. A yet to be determined amount of cash was given to the suspect. He then left the bank and was last observed walking towards Pawlings Road. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported. Four Arrested in East Norriton Home Invasion

The four men are reportedly from the Fort Washington, Norristown and Philadelphia areas.

According to the The Times Herald, Police from East Norriton, West Norriton and Whitpain converged on the 2900 block of Barbara Drive in East Norriton at approximately 1 p.m. today to search for four suspects in a home invasion in that neighborhood. A neighbor reportedly described the four men who allegedly threatened a woman and her son with a bb gun and knives in their home as being young adults. The men were all found and taken into custody shortly after the incident – two on foot near the intersection of Denise Road and Michele Drive on foot and two along a rail line that passes behind Calvert Hurdle Park after they had abondoned a block Ford-150 they were driving in the park's parking lot. Collegeville Man Wanted by FBI

Rex Reichert is wanted for the alleged sexual abuse of two boys over 20 years ago.

According to release issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the FBI is searching for a Collegeville man wanted in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of two area boys, ages fourteen and ten, over a two-year period at his apartment in Collegeville. According to authorities, Reichert had cared for the boys while a relative was receiving medical treatment. The boys also visited him on weekends and accompanied him on camping trips. FBI Searching for Alleged Bank Robber

Brandon Shields, 29, is wanted by the FBI for a December bank robbery in Philadelphia.

According to a release issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to locate Brandon Shields. Shields has been charged with the robbery of a PNC Bank branch at 6855 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia on Dec. 7, 2011. Shields is a white male, 29 years old (he turns 30 next month), 5’7” tall, and 180 pounds.
