Hi Joanne, thanks for commenting. Perhaps I should have found a way to say this in the article, but I believe the thinking is that the kinds of businesses that would be attracted to this area would be the ones without the financial means to tear down the homes and build new offices. That's made even more difficult by the 2,000-square-feet limitation.
In other words, you'd be much more likely to see professionals use the first floor of existing structures as a small office space. Now, whether that still is too much change for the area is a matter of personal opinion.

Hi Debi, assuming you mean headline. Correct, he is indeed not the current mayor of NYC, but it's more of a stylistic and space-saving measure. You can see in the very first line of the article I call him by the correct title.

We have published several sets of police reports from PPD in the past several months (latest here: http://patch.com/A-ycd3). Each department handles reports differently, and Whitemarsh PD makes it very easy by having a press folder available weekly. We're working to get more reports on a more consistent basis from Plymouth PD. -

I believe this is just a question of semantics. From my understanding, you are correct that the judge found voters would be disenfranchised through the provisional ballot process, not because of the entirety of the law. However, because of that determination, Judge Simpson filed an injunction that will effectively allow voters without proper ID to vote, thus putting the "voter ID requirement" on hold through the fall election. -

That's a great insight. Unfortunately I never really caught sight of Lynsay, so I couldn't report what my impression was. But you're not the only person to remark how brave she has been, and through her note, read by her sister at at the mass, it is clear she is finding strength to endure the loss in her daughter and unborn child. -
