Man Airlifted After Being Shot Near Main and Haws

The victim is currently listed in stable condition, but police have been unable to speak with him due to his injuries.

The Norristown Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred near the intersection of Main Street and Haws Avenue early Wednesday morning.

The shooting occurred around 2:40 a.m., and a single male victim – identified as 27-year-old Eric Lever – was airlifted to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia after he sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Lever is currently listed in stable condition, but police have been unable to speak with him due to his injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time, according to NPD Detective Lieutenant Michael Crescitelli, but police have spoken with several witnesses.

The investigation is ongoing.
