'Patricia Porch' Arrested for Public Drunkenness on Porch, Police Say

Mariann Tokarchik, 49, of Norristown, was arrested for public drunkenness after police allegedly found her standing on the porch of an abandoned home on West Lafayette Street.

Public Drunkenness: On June 10 at 3:35 a.m., a police officer on patrol noticed a white female standing on the porch of an abandoned home on West Lafayette Street.

The officer then drove around the block, but when he returned, he noticed the woman stumbling north on Knox Street, the report states. Police stopped the woman, at which point she reportedly showed signs of intoxication. When asked what her name was, the woman replied "Patricia Porch," according to the report.

When asked for identification, the woman handed over an ID card bearing the name Mariann Tokarchik, 49, of Norristown. Tokarchik was then arrested for public drunkenness and placed in a cell at the Norristown Police Department until she was sober.
